Artist's Stand Up!
When societies of the past have been on the edge of tyranny, it was the artists and creative free thinkers that objected most vehemently to the dictates set forth through authoritarian mandates. As a society slips into the ennui and the unnatural belief that rights are bestowed by government and not by God (or the natural force that guides the creative activity of the universe, that which creates mind, etc), the ignorant masses become susceptible to the soft grinding tyranny of government bureaucrats and sudden grabs of power by wanna-be dictators ...
True artists, libertarians, and believers in the goodness of free will should be outraged at what is going on in the United States Federal government! But what do we have? We have idiots like Susan Sarandon, Janeane Garofalo, Tom Hanks, and Sean Penn (nose to tail) in line with the ludicrous leftist agenda. I got news for you Sean ... Chavez IS soon to move from wanna-be-dictator to pure Dictator. We the people! We the people that used to throw up our hands and say, "Oh well that's the government" are now saying, "Hell yeah, screw the government."
... and screw the statists that are bent on controlling the citizenry through government mandates.

I am starting the statists sketch wall of shame.
First: my five minute sketch of Dennis Kucinich: "I want to be a Statist."
Well the statists need 216 votes ... and Dennis himself hails from area code 216. Shamefully, he is my representative. Oh look, it's Dennis, the model statist.
So let's talk about Dennis ... the bifurcated statist. When First Energy purchased a cargo ship full of compact fluorescent lightbulbs, they decided to parcel three out to every customer and then charge the customer an inflated price for the bulbs over time. (read article) I mean, it was a pure example of the statist mentality. The corporation says, "... and you will take these light bulbs ... and you shall screw them in." The government greens are forcing power companies to comply with carbon mandates. So now the corporation says to the consumer, "we must comply ... so we will force you to comply!" When I first heard and then read about the plan, my jaw almost hit the floor. I was ticked! Dennis was actually out there fighting the corporate statist evildoers. He was standing up for the local Joe. Even though I have voted against him for as long as I can remember, I was almost proud of him for the first time in my life. Of course, that was short-lived. When he hangs out in D.C. with the intelligentsia snobs, he becomes Mr. Super Statist!
... and then there was the plane ride. I can see Obama now saying, "Now Dennis, you see we're on the same page here pal ... you want single payer and I want single payer. But like I said back in '07, it might take ten or fifteen years for the government to completely consume it. What we need now is for you to just get your big toe in between the door and door jamb. That door may be closing hard, and your toe may get broken in the process. But once your toe heals, there will be plenty of opportunities in the Obama utopia. I named that after me ... ya know. You see all those little towns, and big cities, and suburbs ... you're gonna have a piece of that ... think big Dennis!"
So, I will be working hard to help his opponent(Corrigan) defeat him this fall. If anyone has a pipeline to Corrigan, I would really appreciate a communication.
Next up on the Sketch Wall of Shame: The man with the forked tongue. Well who could that be? There are so many of them in Washington D.C. ... and don't forget the forked tongue women too. There are lots of them in D.C. Wow I have a lot of material to work with. There are a seemingly endless supply of statists in the government.
